What is it all about?
Taking the role of miners within the Bitcoin network, players compete to secure computational power and be rewarded Bitcoins for their efforts. Bitcoins may be used to buy Milestone Cards, Development Cards, or to buy more Mining Rigs. The player who achieves 7 Milestone Points first wins!
WHY WAS THE CARD GAME CREATED?
The Bitcoin Card Game strives to teach players about how Bitcoin works in an engaging manner. By playing the game a few times, players will be introduced to and become familiar with many of the core technologies used in the Bitcoin network. Players will have the opportunity to learn about mining, block rewards, halving events, 51% attacks, differences between cold and hot wallets, miner economics, private and public keys, mining pools, and much more! Furthermore, various facts are written on various cards, making the card game not only just a simulation of how the Bitcoin Network truly works, but also provides curiosities about the most popular digital currency.
